Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
Bitfoot (“Bitfoot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a non-custodial crypto trading and wallet-tracking application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account & authentication data. When you sign in (e.g. via Telegram, Apple, or Google) we receive a unique identifier and basic profile fields (such as a username or email) from that provider to create and secure your account.
- Wallet & on-chain data. Public blockchain addresses you connect, import, or track, and the public on-chain activity associated with them (balances, positions, and trades). On-chain data is inherently public.
- Usage data. Tokens you view, watchlists, copy-trade settings, and in-app preferences, so the App can function and sync across your devices.
- Device & push data. A push notification token and basic device information, used only to deliver notifications you enable (such as price alerts or watched-wallet activity).
Bitfoot is non-custodial. We never take custody of your funds, and we never collect or store your private keys, seed phrases, or recovery phrases.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features.
- To display your portfolio, positions, trade history, and the activity of wallets you choose to track.
- To execute trades you initiate and route them to the relevant on-chain venues.
- To deliver notifications you have enabled.
- To secure accounts, prevent abuse, and debug and improve the App.
3. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the App, and only as needed to provide it:
- Authentication & wallet infrastructure (e.g. Privy) to sign you in and manage embedded wallets.
- Notification delivery (e.g. Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging).
- Market & on-chain data providers used to display prices, charts, market caps, and token metadata.
- Blockchain networks & trade-routing services required to broadcast transactions you initiate.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the App.
4. Data Retention
We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting us. Public on-chain data exists on the blockchain independently of Bitfoot and cannot be deleted by us.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your device and authentication credentials safe.
6. Children
The App is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
7. Your Choices
- You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
- You can stop tracking any wallet or clear your watchlists in the App.
- You can delete your account and associated data from Settings.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
9. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].
